FAQ's
Yes, insulating your conservatory works amazingly well, In fact our ERi system can perform better than some brand-new conservatory roofs. At Eco Roof Insulation, we use YBS SuperQuilt, the highest-performing multi-foil insulation on the market. Once installed, it keeps your conservatory cooler in summer and warmer in winter, while reducing heat loss, lowering energy bills, and creating a comfortable living space you can enjoy all year round.
Most installations are completed in just 2-3 days, depending on the size and style of your conservatory. Our team works quickly and efficiently to minimise disruption so you can start enjoying the benefits almost immediately.
Traditionally, if you were to buy a new conservatory roof, an average-size solid insulated roof would start from around £15,000. Our Eco Roof Insulation (ERI) solution delivers similar energy-saving benefits, improved comfort, year-round usability, and reduced energy bills, but at a fraction of the cost. With savings of over 75% compared to a full roof replacement, our prices start from around £2,995, depending on the size and specifications of your conservatory.
Insulation may slightly reduce direct sunlight, but the difference is minimal compared to the benefits. By cutting out harsh glare, it prevents overheating and protects furniture from fading, making your conservatory a more enjoyable space all year round. To keep the space bright and welcoming, we can install custom LED down lights, giving you the perfect balance of light and comfort.
Absolutely. Insulation stops your roof from absorbing and trapping excess heat, creating a cooler, more comfortable space without the need for constant fans or air conditioning or an expensive rebuild.
Very little, our internal insulation system is designed to fit seamlessly to your existing conservatory roof. This eliminate the need for thick, bulky fibreglass insulation. Instead, we use market leading YBS SuperQuilt, a 19-layer multi-foil system that performs like around 210mm of mineral wool or 100mm of rigid PIR board insulation. The clever design follows the contours of your existing roof and compresses to just 12mm, meaning you won’t lose any noticeable ceiling height, a maximum difference of no more than 75mm.
Not usually. Our ERI lightweight system is designed to fit seamlessly to the inside of your existing conservatory roof, avoiding the need for a costly replacement.
